What are the precautions for operating a bio-organic fertilizer production line?

2025/12/11

The stable and orderly operation of a bio-organic fertilizer production line is the core prerequisite for ensuring product quality and improving production efficiency. During the operation of the production line, precise efforts must be made in equipment operation, process control, and safety management at each stage to ensure that the entire production process is standardized and controllable.

The raw material pretreatment stage requires consideration of both equipment suitability and process requirements. Before feeding the raw materials, they must be screened to remove impurities, preventing stones, metals, and other contaminants from entering the crusher and mixer, which could cause equipment wear or blockage. At the same time, the moisture content of the raw materials should be precisely controlled to 55%-60% and the carbon-nitrogen ratio to 25:1-30:1 through precise equipment adjustment to ensure smooth fermentation. During operation, the equipment's operating load must be monitored to prevent overload and malfunctions, ensuring pretreatment efficiency and raw material compliance.
The operation of fermentation and turning equipment is a core control point. After inoculating the microbial culture, the compost turning machine must operate regularly and at a constant speed to ensure uniform oxygen supply to the compost pile and maintain a fermentation temperature of 55℃-65℃. The stability of the equipment's transmission system and temperature control device must also be monitored to prevent insufficient fermentation due to equipment failure. pH adjustment requires the precise addition of conditioning agents using automated equipment, with real-time data feedback to ensure that the pH of the compost pile remains stable at 6.5-8.5.
The post-processing and testing stages require efficient equipment linkage. The drying equipment must precisely control the temperature to reduce the material moisture content to below 30%, avoiding excessive drying that could damage the effective microbial population. During the operation of screening and packaging equipment, the sealing and metering accuracy must be checked to prevent product leakage or metering errors. The production line should also be equipped with rapid testing equipment to conduct real-time sampling and testing of indicators such as effective viable bacteria count and organic matter content. Non-conforming products are prohibited from entering the packaging stage.
In addition, safe operation of the production line cannot be ignored. Regular maintenance of ventilation, dust removal, and harmful gas treatment equipment is necessary to prevent safety accidents caused by ammonia leakage; operators must wear protective equipment correctly and strictly follow the operating procedures for bio-organic fertilizer equipment. Only by comprehensively controlling equipment operation and process integration can the production line achieve efficient and stable output and ensure the quality of bio-organic fertilizer.
