Installation site of a double roller extrusion granulation production line in Yong Peng, Malaysia

2026-08-22

At the client's facility in Malaysia, a double-roller extrusion granulation production line constructed by Zhengzhou Huaqiang Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. has entered the final stages of installation. The equipment is arranged in an orderly fashion, and the installation team is carrying out final pipeline connections and precision calibrations; the workshop, located far from home, clearly demonstrates the rigor and efficiency characteristic of "Made in China."

Tailored to the client's raw material properties and production capacity requirements, this line features seven core pieces of equipment. An automatic batching system at the front end precisely controls the mixing ratios of various materials, laying the foundation for high-quality granulation. After batching, materials undergo a dual-mixing process, passing sequentially through a horizontal ribbon mixer and a vertical disc mixer. The horizontal mixer handles the initial blending of fibrous materials, while the vertical disc mixer—utilizing a unique tossing and lifting motion—ensures the powder achieves a highly uniform moisture content and dispersion, fully preparing the material for extrusion.
The uniformly mixed material then enters the double-roller press granulator, the line's core unit. Driven by a hydraulic system, the twin rollers rotate in opposite directions, compressing the material into sheets under constant high pressure; these sheets are subsequently crushed and sized into irregular granules. The machine utilizes wear-resistant alloy roller shells with adjustable gaps, making it suitable for processing abundant local organic raw materials such as empty fruit bunches (EFB) and livestock manure. The formed granules are graded by a drum screener machine, and qualified granules proceed to a cooler. Here, counter-current airflow rapidly lowers the temperature and further reduces moisture content, effectively enhancing granule hardness and storage stability. Finally, the cooled finished product is automatically weighed and sealed by a granule fertilizer packaging machine, completing the entire transformation process from raw material to commercial fertilizer.
The entire production line employs an ambient-temperature extrusion process that requires no drying, making it energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and free from waste gas or wastewater emissions. Huaqiang Heavy Industry’s technical team is on-site throughout the process to supervise installation and commissioning while providing systematic training to local operators. The successful progress of this project marks another milestone in Huaqiang Heavy Industry’s deep cultivation of the Southeast Asian market and provides reliable equipment support for the resource utilization of agricultural waste in Malaysia.
