The oil palm industry in Pahang, Malaysia, operates on a massive scale; however, the disposal of by-products such as palm fibers and palm residue has long been a challenge hindering the industry's green development. Huaqiang Heavy Industry has successfully commissioned a production line capable of producing 5 tons of powdered organic fertilizer per hour. Utilizing a comprehensive suite of equipment—including a loader feeding hopper, chain crusher, automatic batching system, double-shaft paddle mixer, drum screener, and packaging machine—the line establishes a complete value chain for the resource utilization of solid oil palm waste.

Fermented palm fibers and residue are loaded into the hopper by a front-end loader for steady, uniform feeding. The material is conveyed to a chain crusher, which thoroughly breaks down the long, entangled palm fibers. An automatic batching system ensures precise mixing ratios of primary and secondary ingredients, while a double-shaft paddle mixer blends the materials thoroughly. A drum screener separates the mixture; oversized particles are returned for reprocessing, while the qualified powdered product is conveyed to the packaging machine for automatic weighing and bagging.
The production line features a high level of automation, requiring minimal on-site personnel, and is adapted to local workshop conditions, maintaining a stable output of 5 tons per hour during continuous operation. The organic fertilizer produced from palm residue is rich in organic matter; it alleviates soil compaction, enhances soil water and nutrient retention, and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers. This process enables on-site waste processing and the application of fertilizer to nearby fields, thereby minimizing material transportation costs. This project demonstrates that this equipment configuration offers a cost-effective solution for solid waste management in palm processing plants; Huaqiang Heavy Industry provides turnkey services covering process design, equipment manufacturing, and on-site commissioning.
