Fault prevention and optimization of screw conveyor

The advantages of screw conveyor are obvious, but there are many problems in practical application. In production and use, pay attention to maintenance and prevent the occurrence of fault, help to play the performance of the screw conveyor.

1. Improve the bolt connection strength of screw conveyor.
The main factors affecting the strength of bolt connection include the load distribution of threaded teeth, the range of stress variation, the mechanical properties of materials, the degree of stress concentration and additional stress, etc. Bolted connections are subjected to axial loads. Based on the condition of constant minimum stress, the smaller the stress amplitude, the smaller the possibility of fatigue damage of bolts, thus improving the reliability of connections. Because of the different rigidity and deformation properties of bolts and nuts, the forces on the ring thread teeth are also different. When the connection is loaded, the bolt will be stretched to increase the pitch of the external thread, while the corresponding nut will be compressed to reduce the pitch of the internal thread. Therefore, choose the appropriate number of turns of the nut.

2. Improve the quality and strength of components.
The running state of screw conveyor is directly related to the spacing and guiding angle of the screw blades. If there are large errors in the spacing and guiding angle between adjacent blades, the swing amplitude of the blades will be too large and the vibration amplitude will be increased, which will affect the reliability of the blades. The screw conveyor is generally operated for a long time, and there are many materials. The continuous operation of a long time will cause great damage to the screw blade, and there will be problems of distortion, deformation and wear. In view of the above problems, we should improve the quality of helical blades, strictly control the size errors between the blades, improve the compactness and reliability of the weld, prevent slag inclusion or pore problems, and improve the functionality of the helical shaft and the transmission shaft.

3. Guarantee installation quality of screw conveyor.
After the installation of the equipment, the wiring debugging and operation should be carried out to ensure the correctness of the helical steering, the concentricity of the rotating parts of the helical conveyor, the abnormal sound should not exist during the trial operation, and the flexibility and reliability of the feed control valve should be guaranteed. At the same time, the motor, reducer, bearing temperature rise and other related indicators and parameters should be checked in order to run stably. After everything is normal, the feed control valve should be opened and gradually fed until the spiral belt material runs smoothly. During the operation of screw conveyor belt material, the quality of material should be strictly controlled to prevent excessive particle size material from being fed into the conveyor, and the driving device should be taken as a key maintenance item.

4. Daily maintenance of screw conveyor.
Periodically inspect the quality of spiral blade, timely eliminate abnormal wear, spiral shaft deformation and other issues, once found such problems should be replaced in time;
Check the connectors regularly and find that loosening should be tightened.
If problems such as heating and noise occur during the operation of the equipment, it should be eliminated in time and the spiral chute should be repaired or maintained.
The lubrication of head and tail bearing box can be injected regularly.
Replacement of intermediate suspension bearing according to actual wear condition;
Maintenance of reducer should be done well.
